Career

Pablo Berenguer is a Partner and Co-Head of Commercial/Commercial Dispute Resolution practice and of the Technology & Communications sector group in the Madrid office.

He has a broad knowledge of civil, commercial and litigation law, as well as a deep understanding of the technology industry.

He has extensive experience in the field of dispute resolution in many civil jurisdiction cases before the Spanish courts (all instances, including the Supreme Court). He also regularly participates in domestic and international arbitration proceedings, acting as both counsel and as arbitrator. His litigation and arbitration expertise covers sectors and areas such as technology and business consultancy projects, privacy and data protection damages claims, healthcare, international commerce, corporate and M&A related disputes, among others.

He also regularly acts in complex commercial contracts and negotiations, with a particular focus in the Tech & Comms sector. His experience in this area includes complex transformation projects, software development and integration contracts and IT outsourcing, as well as contentious and non-contentious advice in relation to new generation technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, cryptoassets, metaverse, etc.

He writes regularly for specialist publications, and he has lectured in several education and business institutions, such as IE, ISDE, CEU San Pablo University, among others.
