Career

Nikki structures, drafts and negotiates all aspects of commercial lending transactions. She is called on routinely by financial institutions and borrowers to shepherd transactions, including senior and subordinated debt financings, syndicated loans, accounts receivable, inventory and equipment secured loan transactions, securities as collateral and real estate transactions.

Taking a collaborative approach, Nikki enjoys helping both borrowers and lenders structure creative commercial finance deals. She routinely represents developers, private equity funds, property owners and others in commercial finance transactions across the Southwest and Southeast, including Oklahoma, Florida and Georgia. Her recent experience has included working on an affordable housing project for a private fund joint venturing with private equity partners, senior and behavioral health projects, and a phased-development project of industrial property owned by the Dallas Fort Worth Airport. Ranked in Chambers USA’s attorney directory for “Banking and Finance” in Texas, Nikki’s work includes representing clients in deals exceeding $100 million in value.

Prior to joining Bell Nunnally, Nikki served as in-house legal counsel for Bank One — an experience that gives her unique insight into operations and concerns for financial lending institutions and those that collaborate with them.
