Nichole Shustack

Nichole D. Shustack is a partner in ArentFox Schiff's Food, Drug, Medical Device & Cosmetic practice group and a member of the Beverage & Food; Cannabis; and Consumer Products industry groups. Nichole advises companies in the alcohol beverage industry on federal and state regulations, trade practices, commercial agreements, and distribution matters. She combines a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach with savvy business acumen to help her clients navigate the complex and heavily regulated alcohol beverage industry and grow their businesses.

Drawing on her experience as in-house counsel at the Boston Beer Company, Nichole brings a unique perspective on the challenges that corporate counsel often face. Brewers, distillers, and wineries rely on Nichole for legal advice on critical legal, regulatory, and distribution issues. She counsels companies on trade practice compliance matters and marketing programs and materials to ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international laws, including Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and FDA regulations. Nichole also oversees commercial agreements in connection with machinery, capital equipment, ingredients, packaging, and goods and services to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations on the production of alcoholic beverages.
