Jason brings deep experience in guiding clients through the selection, use, and protection of trademarks and brands. This also extends to copyrights, licensing, domain name disputes, advertising, unfair business practices, compliance programs, and negotiating a broad range of intellectual property agreements. Jason's practice spans a broad array of industries, among them consumer electronics, retail and online marketplaces, food and beverages, wine and spirits, clothing, beauty and cosmetics, medical and health, financial services and cryptocurrency, social-media and other internet-based businesses.
Jason’s professional experience includes working at international law firms and serving as in-house counsel for Fortune 500 companies. He began his legal career at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) as an examining attorney, where he received specialized training in U.S. trademark law and prosecution. While at the USPTO, he examined thousands of trademark applications and submitted trademark appeal briefs on behalf of the USPTO to the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
