Nick was called to the Bar in 2009 and joined Littleton Chambers in 2011. Nick is co-head of Littleton’s Commercial and Civil Fraud Group.
Nick has a broad commercial litigation practice, with extensive expertise in civil fraud claims, international commercial cases, and those which involve applications for urgent injunctive relief (such as freezing or imaging orders). He acts in many cases involving the misappropriation of company assets, ranging across the spectrum of corporate wrongdoing, from the diversion of business opportunities to unvarnished corporate theft.
Nick is regularly instructed in disputes brought against or between company directors and shareholders, such as claims for breach of fiduciary duty, and other forms of accessory liability, unfair prejudice petitions, and claims arising out of share purchase / shareholders agreements.
Nick is a specialist in business protection work: he has expertise in claims seeking springboard injunctive relief, those based on the misuse of confidential information, and breaches of restrictive covenants. Nick acts in disputes in the sports sector, with a particular emphasis on contractual disputes.
Before coming to the Bar, Nick worked for several years as a management consultant, on projects for a variety of high profile private and public sector clients.

Nick’s main pursuits are sport related. Nick is a former rugby player at county standard and more recently enjoys cycling, kitesurfing, skiing and ski touring.
