Nenad Stankovic has been practicing law since 1998 and established Stankovic & Partners in 2010 having spent some years at another leading Serbian law firm. His practice is international business law with a particular focus on Corporate M&A, Project Finance and PPP, Infrastructure projects, Dispute Resolution with a particular focus on international arbitration cases. He also has considerable experience of representing clients in Insolvency, Banking and Finance, and wider Commercial law matters. In the Labour and Employment arena, the firm regularly assists clients in drafting employment contracts, including senior executive contracts, international employees, corporate restructurings and redundancy programmes.
Career
Nenad has represented clients in some of the most complex matters in Serbia and Montenegro, including advising on the EUR 1 billion plus financial restructuring of a copper mine and smelting complex (the biggest financial restructuring in bankruptcy in Serbia to date); advising the Serbian electric power industry on the unbundling process and on a corporate restructuring; and representing a number of foreign investors in investment arbitrations. His experience also includes advising a foreign state controlled international bank in connection with railway financing for major infrastructure projects in Montenegro and in Serbia.
