Main Areas of Practice:
Banking & Finance:

Banking and finance related practice includes representation of clients in all aspects of financing transactions, from origination and negotiation to documentation and closing, and when necessary, to enforcement of remedies and agreements for workout and reorganisation. Clients usually represented are agents, senior lenders or other syndicate members, sellers or purchasers of participation, assignors or assignees of direct loan interests, letter of credit issuers, trustees and arrangers or purchasers of capital market instruments. The firm also advises corporate borrowers involved in mergers and acquisitions, divestiture of operating units, equipment and project funding, debt restructuring and working capital and other financing transactions. NSTLAW acts on regular basis for banks, international financial institutions and commercial borrowers.

Competition / Antitrust:
NSTLAW has developed expertise in advising clients from various sectors on a wide range of cases covering all aspects of competition law, including: antitrust infringement procedures, mergers and acquisitions clearance, state aid clearance, verification of distribution and franchising trade channels and antitrust trainings and audit. Among others, NSTLAW is engaged in unbundling of distribution system operator (DSO) and public supplier (PS) as advisor for Electric Power Industry of Serbia - (EPS), which is the biggest Serbian corporate restructuring ever, and restructuring of copper and smelting company BOR.
