Partner and Head - Projects Practice
Neeraj Menon leads the Projects practice of the firm. He specialises in strategic advice, project development, investments, acquisitions and restructurings in the energy, infrastructure and mining sectors.
Neeraj has extensively advised private sector clients on bidding and developing energy, infrastructure and mining projects and is a market leader in the renewable energy sector. He also provides strategic advice in special situations and high-value regulatory and commercial disputes. His expertise is often sought by the Government of India and state governments in the energy sector including on framing bidding guidelines and on various PPP projects.
Neeraj has worked on several first-to-market projects in the sector, including the first-of-kind PPP project for pumped hydro storage project, renewable energy PPP projects in India and Egypt, one of the first PPP metro rail projects, the largest Indian OTS transaction in the power sector to one of the largest recent project financings for a thermal power project.
