Years of experience: 14 years.
Practice: Nathália has extensive experience in Corporate Law, with a special focus on drafting and negotiating national and international contracts, M&A and investment transactions, corporate reorganisation projects, estate and succession planning, and capital restructuring. In addition, she has a solid background in Digital Law, having dedicated her Master’s research to the regulation of new technologies and their impact on international trade.
Nathália’s approach to her practice is always guided by the partnership with the client and the pursuit of legal solutions capable of following business dynamics. She started working in the corporate area at an early age, dedicating herself initially to the litigation area and then moving on to broad consultancy, combining forensic practice with the needs of her clients’ corporate business.
Career: Nathália joined Martorelli Advogados in 2011, as a lawyer in the Corporate Area. Between 2019 and 2020, she remained working as a legal consultant for our firm while also advising Amaral, Paes de Andrade, Perez e Figueirêdo Advogados and Urbano Vitalino in Corporate and M&A transactions. In 2020 she became the head of Martorelli’s Corporate Team and in 2021 she became a partner.
Education: She holds an LLB (2011) from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and an LLM (2013) in Corporate Law from Instituição Brasileira de Mercado de Capitais (IBMEC). She also holds a Master’s degree (2020) in International Contractual Relations from UFPE.
Academic credentials, speaking engagements, etc: She is currently a member of the Legal Strategic Committee of the American Chamber (AMCHAM) and an arbitrator at CAMARB, with expertise in Corporate Law. She also developed research projects during her Master’s degree, including a teaching internship. Finally, her dissertation became a book, which is about to be launched and publicised.
