Moisés Iván Rivera has more than 13 years of experience advising domestic and international clients on intellectual property, litigation and alternative dispute resolution. His practice covers trademarks, patents, industrial designs, utility models, copyrights, domain names, data protection and brand acquisitions.

He has particular experience in trademark litigation and enforcement, including opposition, nullity and cancellation proceedings, as well as civil and criminal actions involving unfair competition and counterfeiting. Moisés regularly develops enforcement strategies for multinational clients and plays an active role in the firm’s brand protection and anti-counterfeiting initiatives. His recent achievements include obtaining recognition of a trademark as well known in Panama and securing the first nullity of a sanitary registration in the country.
