Career

Marisol Ellis joined Icaza, González-Ruiz & Alemán as an Associate in 2004 was named partner in 2022. She has over twenty years of experience in litigation, providing legal advice to important Panamanian and international companies.

Marisol has extensive experience as a panelist and instructor. She has served as Professor of International Law, Commercial Law, Banking Law and Procedures Branches, at local universities at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and has participated as Lecturer at important arbitration and litigation events in Panama and abroad.

She is Panama’s representative in the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce, and belongs to the list of arbitrators of the Conciliation and Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CeCAP).

Professional Memberships

Panama Bar Association, the Latin American Arbitration Association (ALARB), active member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Panama Chapter and the Arbitration Committee, as well as the Spanish Artibration Club - Panama Chapter.
