Leads the Independent Sponsor initiative within the firm’s Private Equity Group. Practice is focused on counselling buyers, sellers and targets in respect of M&A, corporate finance, and strategic corporate and commercial law matters across the private capital ecosystem. Regularly advises private equity funds and their portfolio companies on domestic and cross-border transactions. Offers experience across a variety of industries, including technology, real estate, franchising, hospitality, mining, cannabis, food and beverage, specialty manufacturing and consumer products. Called to the bar in Ontario (2009).
