Michael Snider is the head of the DGS Tax Group. His practice area is primarily focused on international, natural resources, M&A, and private equity related tax issues. Mr. Snider represents domestic and foreign clients in a wide variety of industries, with a particular focus on those in the energy, financial services, and technology sectors. He regularly advises clients on the design and implementation of tax-efficient structures for inbound and outbound investments, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and international joint ventures. Mr. Snider also has extensive experience in structuring various types of transactions, including mergers, stock and asset acquisitions, and recapitalizations. He provides tax advice to private equity funds and their portfolio companies at each stage of a fund’s lifecycle: formation, acquisition planning, portfolio company tax planning, and exit planning and implementation.
