Michael has practiced as an attorney for over 30 years. He regularly advises the national, provincial and local spheres of government, parastatals and the private sector. He has drafted over 500 opinions on a wide range of local government, administrative, constitutional, transport, electricity distribution, energy, tobacco, alcohol, gambling and fishing law issues. He has also been involved in drafting national, provincial and local legislation, acting in litigation disputes and presenting numerous workshops. He has assisted numerous non-profit organisations and serves as a trustee on a number of charitable and philanthropic trusts.
