Michael has 25 years’ of experience as an employment lawyer advising on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law in a variety of sectors including manufacturing, nuclear, retail, facilities management, BPO and construction. Particular expertise in large scale restructurings and the application of TUPE in both acquisitions/sales and outsourcing. He regularly advises employers of both unionised and non-unionised workforces on a variety of collective issues including redundancy, variation to terms (including pension entitlement) and applications for compulsory recognition.
