Michael is a partner in our Human Resources Practice Group.
He has over 25 years' of experience as an employment lawyer and advises on all aspects of both contentious and non-contentious employment law for clients in a variety of sectors including manufacturing, telecoms, nuclear, retail, facilities management, BPO, construction and legal.
Michael has particular expertise in large scale restructurings and the application of TUPE in both acquisitions/sales and outsourcing. He regularly advises employers of both unionised and non-unionised workforces on a variety of issues including NMW, data privacy, redundancy, variation to terms of employment (including pension entitlement), and applications for compulsory recognition.
He also deals with contested cases in both the Employment Tribunals and the High Court and is a regular speaker at a both public and internal training courses on a variety of employment topics.
