Michael Botnick

Practice Areas

More than 40 years of experience in commercial transactions, litigation and construction matters. For more than 30 years, Michael has dedicated a significant portion of his time to construction matters for clients in the public and private sectors. He is a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America, an invitation-only organization.

Michael is also a certified mediator, admitted to the American Arbitration Association National Roster of Arbitrators and Mediators.

Career

1994-2003, Deputy City Attorney, City of New Orleans, responsible for negotiation, drafting and preparation of all City public bid, professional, and personal service contracts. 1993-1994, Director of Economic Development for the City of New Orleans. Served as City's Lead Counsel for the 1988 Republican National Convention, the Pope John Paul II visit, the Harrah's Casino project and in various complex and high-profile state and federal litigation matters.
