Matthias is Head of our global Industrials Sector group and partner in the Munich office.
He is a founding partner of Eversheds Sutherland in Germany and until recently served as Managing Partner for Germany.
In his practice, Matthias specializes in mergers and acquisitions, as well as capital markets transactions. He has experience in numerous national and international company restructurings, financings, and reorganizations. His clients include international industrial conglomerates, listed companies, as well as financial investors and banks, which he advises on corporate law and, in particular, with regard to annual stockholder meetings. Moreover, Matthias is a member of several supervisory boards and has served as arbitrator in disputes concerning capital market and corporate law.
Matthias has a particular specialism in advising industrial clients on its inbound investments in Germany and cross-border M&A projects.
