Matthew’s practice spans the breadth of public law work. He has experience in advising on and representing clients at all levels up to and including the Supreme Court. His particular areas of interest are community care, education, healthcare, immigration and planning.
Having spent the first two years of practice as an in house barrister, Matthew then spent 5 years building his public law practice at 3PB Chambers before moving to 39 Essex in August 2025. Alongside his successful practice, Matthew sits as a Chair in the Valuation Tribunal for England and is also the Chair of the Board of Directors of Thinkspace Education Limited, a higher education institution.
