Agricultural Law Association
A devoted family man, in whatever spare time he allows himself outside of work and family life, Matt infrequently enjoys a wayward game of golf at the weekend. He also supports local country pursuits and is of course a dedicated season ticket holder at Northampton Saints!
Matt specialises in property matters affecting landowners and farmers with specific focus on farms, estate sales and purchases, agricultural tenancies, development land sales (including promotion and option agreements), re-mortgages and intra-family transfers. He has comprehensive knowledge of the Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) and Environmental Stewardship.
Matt also provides inheritance tax planning advice to his clients, especially in relation to Agricultural Property Relief, Business Property Relief and general succession planning.
Matt has been accurately ranked as a Leading Individual in Agricultural & Rural Property. His dedication and commitment to his clients is second to none. He is by far one of the most conscientious and result driven individuals in the profession. His passion for what he does and determination to achieve the best results possible for clients can be seen in every single matter he has conduct of but particularly in complex matters and/or high net worth cases with estate values in excess of several £million.
