Arnold Thomson is a firm of very experienced solicitors and legal experts who share a deep commitment to meeting their clients’ needs. Originally specialising in agriculture and rural estate, the firm has witnessed considerable growth over the last 30 years.
Whilst retaining its niche expertise in agricultural property and rural estate, the firm has also successfully extended its areas of speciality to cover:

■ Wills, Probate, Inheritance Tax & Trusts

The firm is renowned for its high level of expertise in options and development work on farmed land and buildings, partnership agreements, promotional agreements for farmers and landowners, renewable energy including solar and wind farms as well as other aspects of agricultural and commercial property matters.

Arnold Thomson is a unique blend of the traditional and the contemporary. Clients commend the firm for its traditional approach and for its strong commitment to looking after their best interests. Its solicitors are described as highly approachable; excellent, brilliant, with very careful attention to details and the ability to take away the fear of the unknown.

Famously known as Lawyers for the Countryside, Arnold Thomson provides expert legal advice and skillful guidance to farmers, landowners, private clients and commercial property clients. Although a fair percentage of the firm’s clients are local to the Towcester and Market Harborough offices, Arnold Thomson also provides nationwide coverage, visiting clients on their farms and at their commercial sites around the country, when required. There is a fair degree of overlap within the firm’s areas of expertise where many of its commercial clients are also in need of private client services and many of its agricultural clients who are landowners are represented by the firm’s commercial property experts.

The firm is unable to name any of its clients as many of them are very conservative and they would prefer to keep their identities confidential.

Given how committed Arnold Thomson is to the delivery of excellent client care and quality service to its clients, the firm is always conscious of the fact that this is only achievable by having the right people with a mixed bag of exceptional skills working together. The firm is therefore very passionate about filling vacancies with like-minded and highly professional individuals who are equally dedicated to looking after their clients’ best interests. Arnold Thomson is very proud of its organisational culture. The firm is always on the lookout for exceptional individuals who will bring additional skills and add even more value to the services that clients receive.
