Martin Todd is a highly respected and sought after Family Law specialist practitioner. He was called to the Bar in 1991 and appointed Recorder in 2022. He practices nationwide and is acknowledged as a leading junior in his specialist field of significant child injury cases, particularly head injury, sexual abuse, factitious illness and poisoning, he is particularly in his element in complex medical cases.

He has featured in some significantly important cases shaping the family law during his career such as Re J [2012], Re W [2017] and Re A [2015] - He has also trained as a commercial Arbitrator, Mediator and was recently selected as a ‘vulnerable witness’ facilitators, training barristers in the FLBA national roll out.
