Mario Torres is a Partner at Pravia Public Law. His practice focuses on advising national and foreign companies on PPPs, delegations, public procurement, government auditing and conflict resolution with the State.

He has participated in the structuring and negotiation of some of the most important PPP projects currently being developed in Ecuador. In the public sector, he served as General Coordinator of the Legal Department (2003) and Advisor in the Undersecretariat of Concessions (2006) of the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works of Ecuador.

He has worked in prestigious legal firms in the country. In addition, for several years he was a professor of Public and Private International Law at the University of the Americas, in Quito.

As part of his international experience, he was Legal Manager of a group of companies dedicated to the fishing sector, in Argentina (2014-2015).
