Marek Oleksyn

For over 20 years, he has been advising and representing domestic and international clients in matters related to intellectual property protection, including trademarks, patents, designs, know-how, copyrights, databases and internet domain names. He supports entrepreneurs in aspects related to counteracting unfair competition and issues related to advertising. He represents clients before common and administrative courts, the Polish Patent Office, as well as before EUIPO and CJEU. He is an attorney before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). He prepares and negotiates agreements concerning the acquisition and licensing of intellectual property and agreements concerning research and development. He supports entrepreneurs in projects related to the protection of innovation and in issues related to employee creativity. He advises clients on cross-border projects involving technology transfer and the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

For many years, he has been recommended in leading international intellectual property rankings, including Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, Legal500, IAM Patent 1000 and WTR 1000. He is a member of international organisations dealing with intellectual property protection, including INTA, AIPPI and ECTA.

He is the author of numerous publications in this field. He lectures at Lazarski University in Warsaw, including postgraduate studies in “MBA ESG”, “MBA Healthcare, Innovation and Technology” and postgraduate studies in “Law in New Technology Business” and “Environmental Law”.
