Marco Carbonara

Marco Carbonara is a Partner and Member of Executive Committee of ALPEGGIANI Avvocati Associati.

His practice focuses on providing counsel to national and international clients on Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Equity Markets, Debt Markets and Structured Finance transactions - including acquisition financing, corporate financing and real estate financing.

He is especially well versed in advising on a wide range of Corporate and Commercial Law matters – including extraordinary corporate transactions such as demergers and the sale of going-concern or assets.

This is in addition to his long history advising institutional investors, family offices and entrepreneurs with a pragmatic problem-solving approach.

Marco holds a board role on the Tax & Legal Committee of AIFI (Italian Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt Association).

He is recognised by Legal 500 EMEA 2025 – 2026 and Leaders League for his work in the field of Corporate M&A Law.

Marco commenced his career in 1997 working in the Milan/New York offices of Pavia &Ansaldo and in 2005 he became a Partner of a top independent Italian firm.

He became a Partner and Member of the ALPEGGIANI Executive Committee in 2024.
