Marc D. Jonas has distinguished, peer-recognized experience in real estate, land use, and municipal law, representing individuals, businesses, institutions, non-profit organizations, and local governmental agencies. He has appeared in Pennsylvania trial and appellate courts and federal courts in matters involving land use controversies. Marc successfully has represented developers of residential, commercial, institutional, and religious land uses as well as landowners concerned about the impacts of development. His experience and credentials have resulted in his engagement as an expert witness in an assortment of legal matters, ranging from condemnation to family law.
Career
Marc D. Jonas began his career as law clerk to the Hon. James S. Bowman, President Judge of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. Marc is a shareholder and co-chair of the Land Use and Zoning practice group at Eastburn and Gray. He served as chair of the Montgomery County Planning Commission.
Professional Memberships
Marc is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations. For more than 15 years, he has served as the chair/co-chair of the Montgomery Bar Association’s Real Estate Committee, a committee comprising real estate, municipal, and land use law practitioners.
