Manuel Santos Vítor is a Partner whose practice focuses on Corporate and M&A in Portugal. He has been involved in a significant number of the M&A transactions that have taken place in Portugal in the last decades. Manuel Santos Vítor is co-head of Guinea-Bissau Desk.
Regularly provides corporate support (on both commercial and corporate matters) to important business groups, in Portugal and abroad, in a number of business sectors, including corporate governance, family businesses, and corporate reorganizations and restructuring.
Manuel has vast experience in aviation and insurance-related transactions, handling public and private M&A deals in Portugal. He advises international groups on inbound investment, as well as assisting domestic companies.
In recent years, he has been heavily involved in the energy sectors, in particular renewables and O&G, and natural resources in Portugal and in Africa, mainly in Angola, Mozambique and Guinea-Bissau.
