Manav is an accomplished legal professional with expertise in compliance, gaming law, and regulatory affairs.

Manav heads the firm’s Gaming and Gambling practice in Ontario and the firm’s India desk. Manav is a dual licensed lawyer with a decade of experience in gaming and betting, regulatory and corporate compliance across two common law jurisdictions i.e., Canada and India.

Prior to joining Segev LLP, Manav oversaw compliance operations at Kaizen Gaming (Ontario). Manav also worked with Esports Capital Corp. as the Director of Research heading legal and compliance functions.

He actively tracks regulatory developments with respect to gaming and betting, sports betting and monetized competitive skill gaming in Canada and India to advise clients across the globe. As a thought leader Manav identifies issues impeding the growth of the iGaming industry and regularly makes representations to regulators in different jurisdictions to facilitate gaming and betting industry’s continued growth.

He holds a master’s degree in law from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Toronto and a Corporate Secretary qualification from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Manav is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and Bar Council of Delhi.
