Maier Fenster

Maier Fenster is the Head of the Medical Devices Department and Lead Patent Attorney at the Ehrlich Group. With over two decades of experience, he specializes in interdisciplinary inventions, especially medical devices.

Mr. Fenster leads the Medical Devices department's activity, assisting companies in building patent portfolios that add value and serve business purposes, particularly for start-ups. The team also offers services such as analyzing inventions, invention mining and preparing for monetization events, including due diligence.

Mr. Fenster has drafted and prosecuted thousands of patent applications, including patentability opinions, freedom to operate opinions, and infringement opinions.

Mr. Fenster is an inventor with over 40 patents in software and medical devices, including mechanics and electronics.

In addition to his legal expertise, Mr. Fenster is a lecturer in academic and professional forums and has trained numerous patent attorneys. His education includes a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University.
