Career
Luis assists both Brazilian and international clients in resolving disputes related to corporate contracts, mergers and acquisitions, equipment supply, construction projects, and intellectual property. He employs arbitration, mediation, litigation, and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms to achieve effective outcomes. Additionally, he emphasizes dispute prevention by drafting contracts and devising strategies to manage conflicts proactively.
Luis previously served as the secretary-general of one of the largest arbitration institutions in Latin America. He is currently listed on the arbitration rosters of several institutions in Brazil and internationally, including the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) and the China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC). He frequently participates in professional conferences in China and maintains a sustained interest in Asia.
