Diogo Squeff Fries is a partner at Souto Correa Advogados and a member of its dispute resolution and arbitration team. He represents Brazilian and foreign clients in commercial, corporate, agribusiness, real estate, restructuring, technology and startup matters. He has considerable hands-on experience and has led a docket of strategic matters defending his clients in high-profile commercial cases. He has negotiated and litigated both domestic and international deals and disputes in and out of court, and in arbitration institutions. A former Legal Consultant in Washington, DC, at International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group), Diogo focused on deals and special situations regarding investments, project finance and public-private partnerships throughout Latin America.
