Luis Rodrigues is a Partner at Miranda Law Firm since 2019, being the head of the Real Estate department and of the Cape Verde Jurisdiction. Luis is a registered lawyer in the Portuguese and Cape Verdean Bar Associations and has an extensive experience working mainly in real estate, corporate and foreign investment matters, both in Portugal and Cape Verde since 2006. He advised in several of the most relevant foreign investments in Cape Verde in different areas of activity, with special focus on the touristic and real estate sectors including M&A transactions, licensing of investment, corporate structure and restructures, Governmental Investment Agreements, construction agreements, finance agreements, management agreements, lease agreements and property conveyance agreements. He was also the Key Legal Expert of the Millennium Challenge Corporation Land Registry Cadaster for the Island of São Vicente.
