Liv Lyons

Liv recently joined Russells as a Partner and now heads up our New Artist Department. Her main focus is advising both emerging and established artists on all aspects of their careers including recording, publishing, merchandise, branding and management agreements. Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, Liv worked in the music industry for a number of years as an artist manager and musician. As a result, Liv is passionate about championing emerging talent from day one and assisting artists in navigating a less precarious path to success.

In recent years, Liv has cemented her reputation as a leading new-artist lawyer in the music Industry. Her clients include establishing multi-award-winning or nominated artists as well as an array of rising stars tipped for success. She prides herself on hands on approach and being highly collaborative with both clients and their teams in order to drive success.

Before joining Russells, Liv trained and worked at specialist music law firm Clintons and after which she was appointed as Partner at Lee and Thompson.
