When she gets into a case, she internalises her client's interests and is dogged abut pursuing them and turning the case over so she can win it for her clients.

Her writing is incredible; I always enjoy reading her briefs. She is very graceful under pressure, very well-prepared, knows her facts and is a very good public speaker. Lisa in an incredible public speaker – it was one of the best oral arguments I've ever seen or listened to. She has a way of conveying technical things in such a skillful way.

It goes without saying that she's in the top echelon of Supreme Court advocates. She's just excellent and has a unique way of breaking down really complicated legal arguments into more simple, bitesize key points that she continues to come back to – and, at the end of the day, there's such clarity in the key point she's trying to communicate that it can't be lost on any of the judges as she has a way of bringing that argument home. She's very impressive to see at work.

She is, hands down, one of the best advocates before SCOTUS today.
