Enu serves as the Co-Chair of the firm’s Health Care Fraud practice and Chair of the False Claims Act and Qui Tam practice. Enu was instrumental in building and shaping W&C’s practices in both of these areas.
This past year, she was lead trial lawyer for CVS in a 3 week jury trial against the Texas AG’s office, scoring a directed verdict on most of the case. She also led the CVS team to victory in its most important win in the last year – a Tunney Act proceeding before Judge Leon in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia related to the CVS-Aetna merger. She also serves as lead trial counsel for Cardinal Health in all things opioids and began a trial in that role recently (opposite Mark Lanier) in October before reaching a settlement.
Over the last 21 years, Enu has worked on over 70 health care matters, garnering impressive victories. These have often been the result of pragmatically litigating novel or difficult issues. As a result, she has developed an impressive stable of top health care companies as clients, including as lead counsel for health care companies such as CVS, Cardinal Health, Express Scripts, and Omnicare on their most high stakes cases. Enu is currently lead national counsel for Cardinal Health on all opioid-related matters – civil litigation and state AG – which are the most high stakes litigation ever seen by the industry.
