Lindsey D Schmidt

Lindsey D. Schmidt is a partner in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of Gibson Dunn's Litigation, International Arbitration and Judgment and Arbitral Award Enforcement Practice Groups. Lindsey focuses her practice on international arbitration and has extensive experience in both international commercial arbitration and investor-state arbitrations.

She specializes in international arbitration and has extensive experience representing clients in investment treaty and international commercial disputes, with a particular focus on disputes relating to mining, energy, construction, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and insurance. Lindsey represents clients across the globe in a variety of arbitration proceedings, including those before ICSID, ICSID Additional Facility, UNCITRAL, AAA, ICDR, ICC, LCIA, HKIAC and ad hoc proceedings. She also has significant experience in complex litigation, and advises clients on pursuing complex and creative, multi-jurisdictional enforcement strategies of arbitral awards.
