Leonor is a very experienced and recognized lawyer in competition law, one of her areas of practice, along with International Trade (also ranked by Chambers & Partners) and Anticorruption.
Leonor advises clients in several sectors, such as pharmaceuticals, internet/technology, packaging, autoparts, payments industry, nutrition, chemicals, among others. She represents clients before the Brazilian Antitrust Authority (CADE) and Brazilian Courts. At CADE, she practices in both cartel /unilateral investigations and merger control filings.
Due to this experience, she has been a highly admired lawyer in Competition by her clients and colleagues, as indicated by Chambers & Partners and other national (Análise 500) and international rankings (The Legal 500, Who is Who, Leaders’ League).
Career
Leonor is one of the founders of Grinberg Cordovil Advogados, established since 2010.
She holds a Ph.D. in Economic and Financial Law from the University of São Paulo – USP and in International Economic Law from the Université Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne.
Her Master Degree in Economic Law and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) are both from the Federal University of Minas Gerais.
She is also a professor at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (GV Law).
