Antitrust

León Jiménez has dedicated his professional activity to antitrust matters, advising major national and international companies in a wide range of industries such as power generation, O&G, ports, steel, telecommunications, automotive, pharmaceutical, luxury goods, aeronautics, food and beverages, among others. León has extensive experience in merger notification proceedings before the Mexican competition authorities, investigation of anti-competitive behavior, compliance programs and general antitrust advice. With respect to merger notification proceedings, León has advised on multiple multi-million dollar transactions and complex cases brought before the Mexican competition authority. In the area of anti-competitive practices investigations, León has participated in the defense of financial institutions such as multiple banking institutions and retirement fund administrators in the context of cartel investigations. Likewise, he has experience in anti-competitive practices prevention audits for companies and business chambers, as well as in the preventive analysis of commercial practices for important clients in the pharmaceutical and telecommunications sectors. Previously, León was in charge of the antitrust area at CMS Mexico and was part of the Mexican legal teams of large multinational companies such as Pfizer and Axa Seguros.

León currently heads the Youth Liaison Commission of the Illustrious and National Bar Association of Mexico.
