Laura leads Holmes & Hills’ Commercial Property Department, overseeing a team of specialist lawyers and support staff. With a background spanning both residential and commercial property, she was a founding member of the firm’s Land & Development team and has acted for landowners, developers and promoters on strategic land matters. Her current focus is advising landlord, tenant and investor clients across Essex and East Anglia, working collaboratively with industry professionals to identify and address issues early in transactions involving investment, trading and operational premises.
Her expertise covers the full range of commercial property work, including sales and purchases, auction transactions, leases, lease management, licences and complex land agreements. Recent matters include a £1.5m complex site sale involving planning and title restructuring; advising a developer on multi‑phase strategic development including share purchase and option negotiations; and acting on a £6.5m acquisition requiring urgent occupation arrangements, detailed title analysis, indemnities, planning due diligence and third‑party finance. Laura is recognised by the Legal 500 as a Leading Associate and by Chambers as an Associate to Watch.
