Jo has been practising Planning Law for more than 30 years. After qualifying as a solicitor in 1985, Jo joined Holmes & Hills’ specialist Planning & Local Government Department in September 2004 having previously worked for Essex County Council.
Jo is an expert in all aspects of planning and highways law but specialises in advising on, negotiating, and drafting complex S106 agreements relating to large residential and commercial developments. In 2021, Jo was recommended in the Legal 500 directory and her advice in regard to Section 106 agreements has been described as ‘unrivalled’.
Jo works with national developers, private individuals, businesses, and local authorities as well as planning consultants. She provides a professional, comprehensive service whilst being fully aware of the commercial needs of developers and the regulatory requirements of Local Authorities.
