Lars Inge Ørstavik is part of BAHR’s OCEAN group, and his main areas of practice are matters relating to shipping and maritime law, contract law, manufacturing/enterprise law and marine insurance. Working from the strategically located BAHR office in Bergen, a city renowned for its maritime heritage and as a hub for marine and offshore industries, he supports the firm’s commitment to serving the ocean industries with diligence and expertise.
Lars Inge advises ship owners, shipyards and underwriters, particularly in issues related to contracts for the building, conversion and maintenance of ships in addition to matters relating to management and operation of ships.
Lars Inge is experienced in casualty work and compensation law and assists P&I clubs, hull underwriters and ship owners on these matters. He has broad experience from dispute resolution and litigation work before Norwegian courts and in arbitrations.
