Lara Melrose

Lara Melrose is Co-head of the Litigation Finance strategy and is well known in the industry for her commercial focus, in depth knowledge and responsiveness. She has responsibility for the entire Litigation Finance life cycle from deal origination and underwriting to deal execution and case monitoring. Lara's focus is the UK and Europe and her background as a commercial litigator in some of the UK's leading litigation practices provides her with deep expertise in single claimant investments (both litigation and arbitration), group actions, law firm financing and portfolio investments. Lara also supports the fundraising and investor relations teams at Orchard Global.

Lara has been recognised by Who’s Who Legal as a Third Party Funding Thought Leader (2022, 2023), Law Dragon 100 Global Leaders in Litigation Finance 2024 and won the Lexology Client Choice Award in 2023, the first and only Third Party Funder to have done so. She is regularly asked to speak at conferences and join panels of industry leaders, such as the IMN conference, Brown Rudnick Litigation Finance Conference, Thought Leaders 4 Financial Institutions Litigation, Thought Leaders Funding Circle, GLG Class Actions Symposium and the Cambridge Forum on Collective Redress.
