Career

Kyle Doiron is an experienced construction attorney and litigator with a nationwide practice. He represents owners, developers, general contractors, and subcontractors in the many unique legal demands of the construction industry. He regularly serves clients in industries such as healthcare, hospitality, retail, transportation, manufacturing, public works, mixed-use, multifamily, and residential development. If a project involves a hard hat and steel toes, there is a good chance Kyle has or is currently counseling clients on something similar.

Kyle enjoys working closely with clients from start to finish on their projects. He advises on the front end of projects by spotting potential issues before they present themselves and positioning parties to best navigate those future challenges by drafting and negotiating all aspects of construction contracts. Clients regularly rely on his legal and business judgment during projects when problems do surface, and he counsels with an aim to pragmatically resolve those issues early and prepare clients for success should they not be resolved amicably. And when disputes cannot be avoided, Kyle has extensive litigation, arbitration, and mediation experience, which he uses to advocate on behalf of his clients’ interests.

Kyle has repeatedly been listed in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for both Construction Law and Litigation – Construction, as well as named a “Rising Star” for Construction Law in Mid-South Super Lawyers. He frequently shares his industry knowledge and insights with a diverse audience through publications and public speaking at local and national industry conferences, seminars, and events.

Kyle received his J.D. from Duke University (magna cum laude), as well as a Master’s in Psychology from Duke, where he studied cognition and decision-making, primarily in the legal context.
