Kornjan Tangkrisanakajorn is a standout partner at Thanathip & Partners and a rising force in Thailand’s Corporate/M&A market. With more than a decade of experience, she is recognised for her expertise in M&A, corporate finance, securities law and strategic investments for both public and private companies. She joined the firm in 2010 and has built a strong reputation for her commercial judgement, clear communication and effective deal execution.

Kornjan advises clients across a wide range of sectors, including insurance, healthcare, education, technology, logistics, power and fintech. Her experience spans public company acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures and venture capital transactions, including high-growth mandates involving Thai startups and foreign investors.

Her key matters include advising Thaivivat Insurance and Thaivivat Holdings on a major shareholding and management restructuring and the subsequent investment by Itochu; Kasikorn Vision (Kasikornbank Group) on strategic acquisitions and the formation of JK Asset Management; Navis Capital Partners on its acquisitions of Ambassador Education Group and a controlling stake in N.P. Medical; Tencent Group on its acquisition of a 30% stake in WECOMICS and its Series C follow-on investment; Freshket on its Series B fundraising; Betagro and Kerry Express on the creation of the cold-chain logistics joint venture Kerry Betagro; Finnomena on its Series B+ round; Boonrawd on portfolio investments; GP Group on group-wide matters; and Morgan Stanley Private Equity on a range of business expansion transactions.

Kornjan is also a driving force behind the firm’s startup and venture capital practice. She advises founders and early-stage companies on investment strategy and regularly collaborates with ecosystem platforms such as True Digital Park to deliver legal education to Thailand’s startup community.
