In 2013, together with his partners, he founded and led Rod Kurtman Legal LLC (now GRATA International Armenia) as Managing Partner.
Alongside his consulting practice, he gained substantial in-house experience across a number of commercial organizations, including:
2019–2022 – Legal Director at Lydian Armenia CJSC, one of the largest investment projects in Armenia;
2018–2019 – Head of Contract Management at Lydian Armenia CJSC;
2008–2018 – Held senior positions within the legal department of the Armenian subsidiary of a major Russian telecommunications company.
During the same period, he also served as Executive Director of a brandy manufacturing company in Armenia.
In addition to external legal consulting, his professional experience includes work in major regional retail, pharmaceutical companies, and the banking sector, as well as representation in civil and commercial disputes before courts in Armenia and Russia.
