Katie is a managing associate in the employment team, with experience in supporting employers and employees in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
Since qualification, she has had extensive involvement in a number of tribunal hearings, including managing complex whistleblowing and discrimination claims. In her role, she regularly advise on TUPE issues, restructuring and redundancy processes, the enforceability and enforcement of restrictive covenants as well as providing support with grievance and disciplinary processes. She also provides corporate support, advising on the terms of contracts, handbooks, policies and procedures and assisting with due diligence exercises.
Alongside her employment practice, Katie specialises in advising independent schools on education-specific matters including SEN and discrimination, pupil exclusions and safeguarding obligations as well as assisting them with employment law issues.
Katie regularly presents seminars and training sessions on a range of employment topics.
