Kathy Poppitt has extensive experience in healthcare industry issues. As a partner in the Healthcare and Government and Internal Investigations practices, Kathy advises clients on healthcare regulations, administrative law and litigation.

Kathy represents clients in a wide array of regulatory and reimbursement matters. She helps clients to assess the application of regulations to their businesses or practices, and advises insurance companies on state and federal compliance with plan filings, updates and related matters. She also counsels healthcare providers and facilities on compliance, including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) policies and procedures.

A regular author and presenter on healthcare law topics, Ms. Poppitt is an active member of the American Health Lawyers Association.
