Katerina is an attorney with extensive experience in insolvency law and restructuring, and corporate law. She represents both debtors and creditors in insolvency proceedings and out-of-court restructuring matters, and provides strategic legal guidance on reorganizations and bankruptcies, including advising and representing creditors in creditor bodies. Katerina also counsels investors acquiring assets liquidated in insolvency proceedings. Katerina has participated on several successful high profile in-court as well as out of court restructurings mainly on the side of the debtor in possession using innovative approaches such as the introduction of the “stalking-horse bid” concept to Czech insolvency proceedings.
Kateřina's practice additionally focuses on the effective design and restructuring of asset holding structures, including corporate governance matters and long-term management and protection of private wealth, notably through the establishment and administration of trust and endowment funds.
Katerina has been an integral part of BADOKH since 2014 and was appointed partner in 2022.
