Julia Ericsson is a partner of the firm and specialises in intellectual property litigation and advice, with a focus on patents.
Ms Ericsson is an experienced litigator and regularly represents Swedish and international clients in patent infringement and validity proceedings in Sweden. Her experience covers inter alia cross-border patent litigation covering several jurisdictions and complex copyright and trade secrets litigation involving multiple infringement investigations and interim proceedings. Ms Ericsson also provides general strategic advice regarding intellectual property and marketing law matters and advises in regulatory matters (inter alia regarding pharmaceuticals and medical devices).
Ms Ericsson represents clients in all fields of technology (e.g. pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, mechanical, electronical, telecom and software).
LLM Uppsala University 2004, Mannheimer Swartling Advokatbyrå 2004-2005; law clerk at Solna District Court 2005-2006. Joined Sandart & Partners in 2006. Member of the Swedish Bar Association since 2009 and board member of EPLAW since 2019.
Board member and treasurer of EPLAW (European Patent Lawyers Association) and member of various other IPR organizations.
Co-author of the Swedish chapter of Kluwer Law International - Software Patent Worldwide 2012- present (together with patent attorney Magnus Nordin, Kransell & Wennborg).
