Juan Rafael Amador Espinosa

Juan Rafael joined Ramos, Ripoll & Schuster in 2012 and currently heads the Firm's intellectual property and privacy practice.

He is the responsible before the SICYT (Secretaría de Innovación Ciencia y Tecnología) for the PROPIN program (Programa Jalisciense de Fomento a la Propiedad Intelectual) where our Firm has been recognized as an expert in Copyrights.

Juan Rafael is an experienced lawyer with over 12 years of practice, specializing in industrial property, intellectual property, and privacy matters across various industry sectors including automotive, consumer products, pharmaceutical-veterinary industry, and information technology, among others. He has advised and represented several companies in cross-border matters in cases of intangible asset protection, technology transfer, trade secret protection, and personal data transfers.

He has been recognized as an "Associate to Watch" by the publication Chambers and Partners in Intellectual Property in Mexico, he is authorized to act as an arbitrator in copyright disputes before INDAUTOR and has been certified by the National Association of Corporate Lawyers Jalisco (ANADE Jalisco - 2023).
