Joe is a Partner and the Japan Head of Corporate. He has over 15 years of experience as a lawyer in Japan, with a strong track record advising Japanese companies on their outbound M&A matters, as well as international companies investing in Japan.
Joe has worked on transactions across the globe in both developed and emerging markets, with particular experience in deals in Southeast Asia and the UK/Europe. He has undertaken M&A in numerous sectors, but some of his most high-profile transactions have been in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector.
Joe is admitted to practise in New Zealand and in England & Wales and is a licensed Registered Foreign Lawyer (Gaikokuho Jimu Bengoshi) in Japan.
